Cape Coral is one of the fastest growing cities in the State of Florida. The city is located on the Caloosahatchee River and is connected with Fort Myers with a number of bridges. Cape Coral is most commonly known by its number of waterways – over 400 miles, some of which with access to the Gulf of Mexico. In 2010 the city’s population reached 170,000 and thanks to the “snowbirds,” the number goes up by approx. 20,000 during the wintertime.
